House prices fell 0.5 percent in June, taking prices down 15.0 percent in the three months to June versus a year ago, the smallest annual fall since last November, mortgage lender Halifax said on Wednesday. That left the average price of a home at 157,713 pounds.
Analysts had forecast a fall of 0.7 percent on the month, for a three-month annual decline of 14.7 percent.
